Under Armour has given me the opportunity to stretch my creativity into areas not always directly associated with my day-to-day job. Many of these projects are one-off logo and branding tasks from athlete logos to technology stories we are designing product around. Whatever it may be, this is something I am always up for, challenging and improving my skills as a graphic designer.


Creating a mark for ‘sleep’ is certainly an interesting design challenge. My director proposed this to me and after spending some time developing a concept I landed on an idea. The solution involved combining a very commonly recognized digital icon, the radial swipe button and the symbolic crescent moon.


This is just one example of a technology within the Under Armour product line in which I have been able to design external branding for. This waterproof mark below was used specifically on packaging for golf shoes.
